The flagged stone path leads you to the steep steps which in turn lead up to the delightful rooms on the first floor, all of them tastefully and charmingly furnished.
On the lower floor the time-worn stone walls and the great chimney with its huge wooden crossbeam (where their grandmother once used to bake bread) evoke the sensations and emotions we'd thought lost and forgotten. These memories, real ones lived by real people, embrace you with their sea of faces, voices and fond habits.
